Corin Moore and social tennis

Corin Moore, our Social Organiser, was formerley the Coach
at Richmond LTC for seven years from 1987 having spent a year coaching
in Portugal prior to being P.R.O. Manager at Val do Lobo where he
briefly ran the Roger Taylor Centre. He is an experienced LTA
Part ii Award coach and has run dozens or courses throughout the Borough
of Richmond for both adults and juniors. Remembered by some of our older
members for winning the Men's Doubles Tournament for 5 years (a club
record), he is now available for coaching on 2 or 3 days a week. Corin writes, "The organised Social Sessions at RLTC are a fantastic recent innovation as it encourages players of all standards to know they can come along and be assured of playing social yet competitiv tennis with both weaker and stronger players. Nobody feels left out or that they have to arrange matches themselves and the Wednesday evening sessions are particularly popular because of the BBQ which can go on till late. For new members it is an ideal way to get-to-know other players and would-be members to come along and experience the genuine friendliness of the Club |
