| The commercial`s company Hostpur & Argyle needed to
find some grass courts that they could use to replicate Wimbledon
for a Buxton Water ad featuring Greg Rusedski. Fortunately they chose RLTC so on July 11 the crew built some temporary stands on one of the back courts and brought in green boards for the back netting and a genuine Wimbledon umpires chair. Greg was to reenact the verbal outburst in the Roddick match at Wimbledon this year but just as he is about to launch into a tirade the umpire spurts water over him. The shoot needed someone at the other end of the net and I offered my services for a rare excursion in front of the camera rather than behind it. Fortunately I only had to walk to the chair and my forehand was not inflicted on the nation. The ad should be broadcast from July 21 03 Ed Wright |
